With Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 4, Epic Games is bringing some changes to the competitive system. Here's everything you can expect with the new patch.

Fortnite's competitive game modes allow players to test their skills and prove who's the best in battle royale. Epic Games is known for hosting cash cups and other competitions to further promote the game's competitive community. And there is always a lot of cash involved. But just because things are going well doesn't mean Epic Games is resting on its laurels.
A recent blog post from Epic describes how the competitive scene will change in Chapter 4, Season 4. Here are the details.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked Playlists
The Ranked offerings will still feature four modes in total, including a temporary Solo Zero Build:
- Battle Royale
- Solo
- Duo
- Squad
- Zero Build
- Solo (temporary)
- Duo
Ranked Season Zero Reset
Epic Games is planning to reset each player's rank for update 26.00, which should arrive just after the release of Season 4. So get ready for a new Ranked adventure!
FNCS Global Championship 2023

The best Fortnite players from around the world will meet in Copenhagen to battle it out and find out who will be the best duo of the year. This competition is more or less a sequel to the 2019 Fortnite World Cup, which resulted in a big win for Bugha in Solo mode and a victory for Nyhrox and aqua in Duo.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 - Other Tournaments
There will be a lot of tournies available to grind. Here's a quick rundown of some others you can expect!
Victory Cash Cups
Victory Cash Cups are part of Chapter 4 Season 4. Qualify for Round 2 and earn a cash prize with every Victory Royale.
- Every Sunday for Solo Battle Royale
- Every Sunday for Duos Zero Build
Requirements: Reach at least Gold I in Ranked
PlayStation Cups
There will be a total of 6 tournaments in September reserved for PlayStation players. There will be two qualifiers for each Battle Royale and Zero Build mode, followed by a final with a total of $250,100 to be won for each final.
- September 1: Zero Build Qualifier 1
- September 2: Battle Royale Qualifier 1
- September 8: Zero Build Qualifier 2
- September 9: Battle Royale Qualifier 2
- September 15: Zero Build Finals
- September 16: Battle Royale Finals
Requirements: Reach at least Bronze I in Ranked

Cash Cups
A duos Battle Royale weekly competition! Schedule to be announced.
Requirements: Reach at least Gold I in Ranked Battle Royale.
Console Champions Cup
There will also be a Console Champions Cup during the season from October 27 to October 29. You will need to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch for this event.
Requirements: Reach at least Platinium I in Ranked Battle Royale.
In short, you won't be bored this season, especially if you're comfortable with both Battle Royale and Zero Build.
