Patch 21.51 has been kept a mystery even for leakers and insiders, who have no idea what Epic Games is cooking for the battle royale.
One of the last Fortnite updates of this season is coming, one that's completely shrouded in mystery. There's plenty of speculation regarding what this patch will bring, however, there doesn't seem to be any indication that it'll shake things up massively.
We've got the downtime and everything you need to know about the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 Update 21.51 for you.
Fortnite Patch 21.51 Downtime
The Fortnite Update 21.51 will start parallel to Fortnite's server downtime on Wednesday, September 7 at 4:00 AM ET (08:00 UTC), with matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes prior. The servers are usually offline for up to 2.5 hours. You can then throw yourself into the game as usual.
Fortnite Update 21.51 Patch Notes
With every patch, new things come to the Fortnite island. And even if there are no official patch notes, some leaks tell us what new things could come into play with Fortnite Update 21.51.
That's what we would usually say. This time, sadly, everything has been completely sealed off by Epic Games, with not a single leak happening. Even reliable sources like HYPEX are anticipating what patch 21.51 could bring to the Fortnite island. In a tweet, HYPEX stated:
I don't have a "What to expect tomorrow" tweet for this update because I genuinely don't know what's in it, BUT I highly doubt that it's for nothing. It's probably S4 buildup stuff (quests ect..) OR an event which is LESS likely.
Anyway turn on your notifications for tomorrow
In any case, as with every patch, there will be some bug fixes. If you're interested, you can check them out on the official Fortnite Trello board.
