Nintendo Direct Leaked

According to reliable leaks, a new Nintendo Direct is coming very soon. Let's check out all the details.

It's the summer of gaming, y'all. The Summer Game Fest kicked everything off with a big showcase, followed by Microsoft and other publishers showing off their upcoming games. Oh, Sony did a thing as well, of course. One major company that has been suspiciously silent so far is Nintendo, though. But like I said... so far. Leakers and insiders revealed a tasty nugget of info though, confirming that we will get a Nintendo Direct showcase very soon!

Nintendo Direct Will Happen In A Few Weeks

The next Nintendo Direct is slated for June 29. This info was revealed by former games journalist Alanah Pearce, who currently writes for Sony Santa Monica. On one of her livestreams, talking about the Summer Game Fest showcases we have seen so far, she revealed that a Nintendo Direct is coming up - even though it hasn't been officially announced yet.

When asked about a Nintendo Direct by a viewer, Pearce answered positively and revealed the date:

I believe there is a Nintendo Direct coming on the 29th. I don’t know if that’s been announced. You heard it here first.

And yes, that is where we heard it first. That's not all, though. Others with inside information, like VGC, have backed this claim up, confirming that yes, the next Nintendo Direct is happening on June 29.

What Games Will Be Shown At The Next Nintendo Direct?

We don't have any concrete info on the lineup of the next Nintendo Direct yet. However, there are some pretty safe bets that can be made. We have some big games coming out for Nintendo Switch in the coming months. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is coming on July 29, so expect a nice big launch trailer. Splatoon 3 is coming in September, with a nice chunk of new content fitting perfectly into this new Direct.

And the big one is of course the sequel to Breath of the Wild. After the delayed release date, we know that the game will not come out this year anymore. This might be the last big chance for Nintendo to finally fully reveal the game and show off some details for it.

Otherwise, we're hoping for new info on Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4. But like we said, this is just speculation and a bit of daydreaming. We will only have to wait a couple of weeks until we find out, what Ninty have cooking up for us.
