Mortal Kombat is an iconic franchise. So much so that you couldn't tell the history of gaming without mentioning it. Of course, it's become far less popular over the years, but its 30th anniversary is coming up, and that's still worth celebrating. So, how should you celebrate? Not by playing the original on a cheap/buggy emulator. Nope, instead, get yourself the 30th Anniversary Bundle that Amazon just leaked!

Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Edition Leaked On Amazon

Amazon have accidentally leaked the Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Bundle by listing the product on their site ahead of the studio revealing it (just like they did last week with Dead Island 2's release date). They've since deleted their mistake, but not before one smart cookie was able to get it screenshotted:

Why do Amazon keep doing this? Seriously, this shouldn't be happening on such a constant bases at such a huge company. And yet, the same mistake keeps being made. Ah, well, we aren't complaining.

Now if only Amazon could leak this game's release date:

When Is The Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Bundle Release Date?

As the name suggests, the Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Bundle will be released exactly 30 years to the day after Mortal Kombat was originally released in 1992: October 8, 2022. So not long at all! Plus, the game looks to be fairly cheap if it's being listed for only £29.99, that would be about 40 dollars or euros.

Are you hyped for the Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary Bundle, or do you think they're just repackaging older content? Personally, we're still more excited about the two new characters coming to Street Fighter 6...
