Octarine Core - Octarine is the eighth color also known as the color of magic in Terry Pratchet's "The Colour of Magic". It's only visible to wizards and cats. Daedalus - The Dota 2 item increases overall damage, but it's actually based on the famous Greek craftsmen and architect of the same name. He is said to have built the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete, but is most famous for flying on makeshift wings together with his son Icarus. (Credit: medium.com)
Stygian Desolator - This was the name for Desolator in DotA. Stygian Desolator returned as a neutral item in Dota 2. The name is derogatory of the river Styx from Greek mythology. It's also a weapon from Anarchy Online. (Credit: Anarchy Online fandom)
Monkey King Bar - We already have the Monkey King in Dota 2, but the item preceded the hero by many years.
