Despite having Kim K join the cast, the most recent season of AHS was awful. Honestly, so bad that it makes me think it might be time for FX to move on from a show I've loved for literally decades. This one is absolutely worth skipping. | © FX
The only good thing about Murder House is this shot, I'm dead serious. No wonder people stop watching AHS after the first season, as it's simply the worst. Yes, many people disagree completely and think Murder House is, in fact, the best AHS season, but I really don't understand. The entire plot was just getting on my nerves very early on, and so were the characters. I was so glad once I finally got through it and was able to watch the other seasons. | © FX
The premise of NYC, a serial killer targeting gay men in the 80s, was interesting. But the execution? There's a reason this one of the worst-rated seasons in the entire franchise. It reduces the entire LGBTQ experience to a taboo-breaking romp, and the writing is terrible. | © FX
1984 was such a letdown for me. The plot – compared to previous seasons – seemed so... mundane. As if they had suddenly lost inspiration and just had to come up with something. The acting was the only thing that kept 1984 to be in last place, because Murder House didn't even have that. | © FX
It's not that Hotel was bad, I actually quite enjoyed it, but compared to the seasons that follow, it just doesn't live up to the rest. The entire vampire Lady Gaga plot was cool...-ish. But the real hero for me in this season – acting wise, of course – is once again Sarah Paulson (you will hear me say that multiple times throughout this article). | © FX
The cool thing about Apocalypse was how different seasons came together in it... but that was kinda also its downfall for me. It was just a lot, and sometimes too much. But nice try, guys. | © FX
Double Feature starts strong with "Red Tide," following a writer who discovers a creativity-enhancing but dangerous pill in a mysterious seaside town. However, it falters in "Death Valley," where a mix of alien invasion plots and disjointed storytelling fails to maintain the initial intrigue. A real shame. | © FX
Freak Show was pretty cool, and I love how they showed a different side of AHS in Freak Show... and its actors. Once again, I applaud Sarah Paulson, but also Jessica Lange. They did a fantastic job in Freak Show. One of my favs was, however, the clown. I'm not a huge clown fan, but what they did here was just awesome. | © FX
I LOVED Coven. I know some people think it's super boring, but this was like Sabrina in badass. Maybe a big reason why I love the LoL Coven skins so much is because they actually remind me of Coven AHS. That's power. | © FX
Roanoke surprised me on another level. I went into that show without any spoilers whatsoever and was not disappointed. The gore in this season and the story blew me away. I loved the way they told the story and I absolutely could not take my eyes off the screen for even just a second, while at the same time, I had the urge to close them every time, afraid something horrible would happen at any second. | © FX
The plot twists in this season blew me away. It was like I saw absolutely nothing coming, and I really felt for Sarah Paulson's character. Even when she went full berserk, I was like: yep, that was deserved. Evan Peters was also insane this season, by the way. I hated him, but his performance was on another level. Now, to the one that everyone, absolutely everyone loved. AHS Season 2, Asylum, will forever be the best AHS season. Like, seriously. I don't think any other AHS season will ever come close to Asylum. The way they built the story in this one and the way you felt towards the end of the season, compared to the beginning... chef's kiss. | © FX
