As a smaller map, fit for game modes like Slayer and Capture the Flag, Streets absolutely excels at providing a fast-paced on-foot map, complete with some truly fantastic visuals. A massive Big-Team Battle map, complete with all the forms of transport you could have ever wished for. It's an amazing piece of work, with smaller indoors spaces to compete over in objective-based matches. Catalyst is one of the new maps in Halo Infinite Season 2 and it absolutely rips. We love it! It reminds us a lot of Halo Combat Evolved with its distinct Forerunner design and we love the verticality of it. 343 nailed it with this one. | © 343 Industries
This massive night-time map is an absolute joy to play, offering an immense amount of verticality, and never missing a beat in terms of map design. There are choke points and flanking spots, but nothing that stops the flow of gameplay, and certainly nothing that doesn't add some kind of strategic edge to the gameplay. | © 343 Industries
Fragmentation harks way back to the old days of Blood Gulch. It is super similar, with this valley-settings that sees Spartans fighting between two key towers at either end of the map. It is a huge map, with tons of other POIs and spots to check out in the central areas, and is an absolute blast to play with friends, taking advantage of the many vehicles that are available. Halo Infinite is here, and it rocks harder than any Halo before it. One of the game's best features (other than a that fantastic Battle Pass, of course), is that the game launched with ten fantastic multiplayer maps. Now, I want to make one thing clear: there are no bad maps in Halo Infinite. There are a few... less than stellar ones. But nothing egregious.
