AMONG US: The surprise hit of the year! Among Us had its release two years ago but its breakthrough came in 2020 and fascinated everyone. That includes us, we love Among Us! No wonder it's on the list of the top-selling games this year. It is available for mobile devices as well as for the PC and since recently also for the Nintendo Switch. COUNTER-STRIKE: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE: CS:GO
is already more than eight years old, but still enjoys great popularity. The
online tactic shooter developed by Valve is once again among the
games with the highest sales this year. The fourth installment of the
Counter-Strike series is playable on the older consoles PlayStation 3

CYBERPUNK 2077: Yeah, yeah, we all know that the game has its problems. Bugs, game crashes, we've already reported on them several times. Cyberpunk provided a lot of reasons for criticism but also for funny memes. Nevertheless, it apparently didn't hurt the sales figures. CD Projekt Red's game was eagerly awaited by fans – and bought. DOTA 2: Another long runner on the list of the top-selling games of 2020: Dota 2 has been on the market for seven years now after all. But Valve's multiplayer online battle arena game constantly brings a breath of fresh air through regular patches and new heroes as well as further innovations that keep the game alive and the players playing. FALL GUYS: ULTIMATE KNOCKOUT: Mediatonic released a surprising gaming trend of 2020 with Fall Guys. 60 players attempting to come out on top in Battle Royale-style mini-games to secure a crown at the end – that´s the concept and it works. After its resounding success, the fun game already started into his Season 3 in December and is constantly being expanded with new levels, costumes, and other little things. GRAND THEFT AUTO V: Fans are still eagerly awaiting GTA VI and a recent trailer for the fifth entry might possibly have revealed the setting of its successor. However, that fifth installment is still very successful, so there seems to be no hurry for Rockstar Games. RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2: Speaking of Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been one of the most successful video games in history since its release in 2018, breaking the record for most pre-orders up to that point, as well as the sales record during the launch weekend. 2020 is coming to an end and with it another gaming year featuring many great games. Steam have published their Best of 2020 lists to conclude this year and thus selects the best games in several categories. Today we look at the best-selling games of 2020! Steam has categorized the games into Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze based on gross revenue, and the following titles made the Platinum cut.
