15 GTA 6 Easter Eggs and Hidden Details You Might Have Missed

15. Lucia's Family Has Connections to Liberty City

The official character profile for one of the two protagonists in GTA 6, Lucia Caminos, contains an interesting reference to another major location in the Grand Theft Auto universe. Rockstar mentions that her mother had wanted a "good life" for Lucia since their days in Liberty City. This city is best known as the setting for past games, such as GTA III and GTA IV, giving Lucia's backstory a small connection to previous installments. | © Rockstar Games

14. Tommy Vercetti's Estate Is Referenced in a Weapon

Tommy Vercetti might not be making an actual appearance in GTA 6, but Rockstar has found another way to reference the iconic protagonist. The Ultimate Edition of the game includes a pair of Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers described as being "sourced from the Vercetti Estate." Their grips also feature palm-tree engravings, which is easily the biggest confirmation of their roots in Vice City. | © Rockstar Games

13. Flash FM Makes a Comeback

Fans of the original Vice City will likely recognize Flash FM, one of the game's most memorable radio stations. Rockstar has confirmed its return in GTA 6, bringing back a familiar name from the 2002 installment. 11. Slayer's "Raining Blood" Track Returns

Another musical connection to the original Vice City comes through Slayer's legendary metal track, "Raining Blood." The song previously appeared on V-Rock in GTA: Vice City and has been featured again in the previews for GTA 6. It will be played on The Chamber 106.6, which will feature Slayer members Tom Araya and Kerry King as DJ Tom and DJ Kerry, respectively. | © Rockstar Games

9. The Ocean View Hotel Returns

One of the most exciting callbacks to the original Vice City in GTA 6 is the return of the Ocean View Hotel. 7. Sessanta Nove Returns

Rockstar has never been particularly subtle with its fictional brands, and Sessanta Nove is a perfect example. 5. Six Wanted Stars Make a Comeback

GTA 6 appears to be bringing back the six-star wanted level system, which is a familiar feature for those who've played previous Grand Theft Auto games. It's a nice callback to the more chaotic police chases of earlier installments. | © Rockstar Games

4. The Classic Cheetah Sports Car Returns

The Cheetah is one of the most recognizable vehicles in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. 2. Phil's Ammu-Nation Could Be A Reference to Phil Cassidy

GTA 6's second trailer features a man firing a weapon underneath a sign reading "Phil's Ammu-Nation." This immediately caught the attention of longtime fans because Phil Cassidy is a familiar gun enthusiast who appeared in several older Grand Theft Auto games, including Vice City. Some believe the man could be Phil himself or a relative, although Rockstar hasn't officially confirmed his identity. | © Rockstar Games

1. A Red Dead Redemption 2 Location Appears in a Burger Commercial

One of the more interesting Easter eggs spotted in GTA 6's extended footage could be a subtle callback to Red Dead Redemption 2. During a scene where Jason sits down to watch television, an advertisement for a fictional fast-food chain promotes its enormous Prairie Sandwich Meal. However, eagle-eyed fans on Reddit noticed something unusual about the footage preceding the commercial: a shot of several animals grazing near a river appears to feature a location from RDR2. | © Rockstar Games
