Mrs. Doubtfire plays it as heartwarming, but a judge would call it stalking with a costume budget. He lands a job in the same house he's banned from and spies on Miranda's dates while in character. Steve Rogers spends Civil War convinced he is the only adult in the room. He hides Bucky's kill list from Tony, then acts wounded when the truth blows up in everyone's face. An entire airport battle happens because Steve would rather fight his friends than have one honest conversation. There is a bowling alley argument in The Big Lebowski that ends with Walter Sobchak pulling a gun over a foot fault. He spends the whole movie one sentence away from assaulting somebody who barely provoked him. Donny gets talked over, insulted, and ignored right up until his death, which Walter somehow still makes about himself. His own voiceover narrates the scams like punchlines, grinning through every federal crime.
