Ellie, born into a post-apocalyptic world populated by deadly creatures called Clickers, has become one of the most famous characters in video games due to her engaging personality and her ability to survive against all odds.

Ellie actively assists Joel in The Last of Us, and in key moments of the story, she becomes a playable character herself. Now that she is older, Ellie takes the center stage in The Last of Us: Part 2 as the main character and is no longer Joel's "sidekick," but does everything she can to seek revenge for his sake.
