Hundreds of teens stormed a trampoline park leading to eight arrests made by Florida police. This "Takeover" TikTok trend endangers people and affects businesses negatively.

Urban Air Takeover

The Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Brandon, Florida was suddenly flooded with teenagers trying to enter the establishment on March 21. The indoor entertainment area was crowded and chaotic, when police arrived. Deputies say hundreds of teenagers overwhelmed the business and spilled into the parking lot, forcing an early closure. Some teens even got into fights.

Later, bodycam footage of the incident was released.

An employee gladly welcomes deputies.

Can you follow me? My director is asking for an officer on the trampolines over here.

Police try to make the teens vacate the premises and command them to leave the property, but were ignored by some of them. As a result, 8 juveniles were arrested for trespassing.

Parents now express safety concerns and critique the teens for endangering the children playing in the trampoline park.

Urban Air released a statement claiming safety was their priority and they were happy no one was hurt.

Takeover Trend

The incident was likely linked to a TikTok trend known as "Teen Takeovers", where large groups of teenagers gather unannounced, storming businesses, malls, carnevals etc., authorities claim. The trend is nothing new and has been arround for years. The plans are made on social media and the tagrets overwhelmed.

Other Urban Air locations were previously "taken over" in Ohio and Georgia earlier in March, Dexerto reports, making this one just one incident in a string of teenager tsunamis.

In May 2025, 300 teenagers stormed a carnival in New Jersey, shutting it down and fleeing into a local mall. There, the businesses got overwhelmed and has to close as well for shoppers' safety.

The trend tastes like a project-x kind of incident. The larger it becomes, the more dangerous it gets, because more people attend. Only the teens themselves are not the only ones affected. Large crowds pose dangers, especially for establishments, places and people that are not prepared for them. This latest incident showed that gatherings like this cause fights, endangers people, especially children, and affects businesses. This is another one of those trend that is more dangerous than cool or funny, if you just think about it for a second longer.
