Jake Paul is officially preparing to make his boxing comeback. More than a year after suffering a double jaw fracture against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, the 29-year-old announced he will return to the ring on December 24, 2026, in Dubai.

Jake Paul Sets Christmas Eve Date For Boxing Comeback

Paul's last appearance in the squared circle ended in a brutal sixth-round knockout defeat against Anthony Joshua in December 2025. The bout proved costly for the Problem Child, leaving him with a double jaw fracture that required corrective surgery.

The severity of the injury forced Paul into a prolonged hiatus, during which he openly questioned whether he would ever step into a ring again. Now healed and cleared, he has chosen a wild slot on the sports calendar: Christmas Eve in the UAE.

December 24 will see Paul step back into the ring in Dubai. True to form, Paul promised fireworks right out of the gate, warning fans that "Santa Paul is coming to town and somebody is getting knocked out."

Jake Paul's Opponent Has Not Been Confirmed Yet

While the date and host city are locked in, Paul's next opponent remains a mystery. Matchmakers are reportedly sifting through a shortlist, but no formal bout agreement has crossed the finish line.

MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian confirmed that negotiations are actively underway. Combat sports chatter has linked several notable names to the card, including former UFC welterweight standout Darren Till. That said, nothing is official just yet. Whether he targets another battle-tested MMA vet or tests his luck against an actual cruiserweight remains anyone's guess.

Paul's return marks the biggest crossroads of his boxing run. Coming off the most decisive stoppage loss of his career, the YouTuber-turned-prizefighter now has to prove whether his chin and confidence can hold up under the bright lights.

For now, fight fans will have to wait for the official dance partner to be revealed. One thing is certain: Jake Paul plans to spend his Christmas Eve trading leather in the desert.

What do you think of Paul fighting on Christmas Eve, and who should he face? Let us know in the comments!
