Owner of a food truck and Twitch streamer Musa_USA was robbed by a customer on stream, who took money right out of the tip jar. Police was called.

"He Seemed Nice. Why Is He Doing This?"

Muhsin Sarac owns the food truck Musa Steak & Dogs on Ingleside Avenue in Baltimore and is known for his Twitch channel Musa_USA where he broadcasts himself during his daily business cooking food and serving customers. The turkish man can be seen chatting nicely with customers and interacting with his chat while cooking.

On March 28, business was slow and Sarac contemplated closing his shop when a customer approached. He ordered a cheese steak "with everything on it", making small talk with the food truck owner, stating: "You got the best cheese steaks on this side of town." As Sarac prepared the food, the customer noticed a camera, after which Sarac made him aware that he is livestreaming and asked "I share on Instagram, is that okay? You can see yourself on Instagram tomorrow," to which the customer answered: "Yeah, that’s what’s up".

For the new order, the grill had to be cleaned. While Sarac does that and turns away slightly, the customer reaches for the tip jar but backs away as the streamer turns around. However, the next time the food truck owner turned, the man waiting for his food takes multiple notes out of the jar. To play off the money in his hand, he asked: "How much is it? So I know what to put in," gesturing to the jar. Acting as if he had to go get something from his car, the customer said: "Remember, I want extra everything", turning and walking away.

You can watch the clip here.

The chat, obviously having seen the whole ordeal, tells Sarac that he just got robbed. “Did he steal the money?” he asked his viewers. “I think he stole the money. He stole like $20, are you **** serious? Guys, he’s not coming back.”

So Sarac called the police giving them a description of the robber. After a few minutes, an officer arrived. The food truck owner wanted to show him the footage, but the officer stated he had already seen it. While they talked about the incident, a viewer donated to let Inner Cirle's Bad Boys play out loud. Another costumer couldn't help but laugh at this.

Armed And Dangerous?

While the incident ended up leaving Sarac himself unscathed, after the clip got shared on social media, many alluded to a possibility of a more serious outcome.

The streamer later posted another POV of the scene on Instagram, showing the robber reaching into his pocket before seeing the tip box and reaching for it instead. The caption implies that he may have been armed and had he not seen the tip box, may have seriously harmed Sarac.

You cannot see what was in his pocket though, and it is not clear if he was actually armed or not.

Still, the situation could have been a lot more dangerous for Sarac. The robber though, having been made aware that he is being not only filmed, but livestreamed took a high risk of being caught with his face obviously showing, for 20 dollars. That does not seem like the most well thought out crime.

"He Was Not Raised Like That"

A few days after the clip with the robber clearly visible had gone viral, Musa_USA had his truck in the same spot cooking hotdogs live on stream, when a woman approaches the window. Sarac, obviously thinking the woman is just another costumer, tries to take her order but she declines. Sarac pauses the music to listen.

A little while ago, a young man came to your stand and took money from your tip jar. I'm his mother.

Sarac is visibly surprised. The woman asks how much he took and the food truck owner answers hesitantly, saying he is not sure. When the women insists, he claims he thinks the man took around $30. As she reaches for her bag, Sarac says she does not have to pay, but the mother does anyway.

No, I'm gonna pay, because my son wasn't raised like that.

She claims her son does stupid stuff like that when he drinks when Sarac asks why the man stole from him.

I'm gonna pay you back because you don't deserve to be stolen from.

She puts the money back in the tip jar where her son took it from. She also claims she put her son in treatment and prays for him to get the help he needs. She just wants Sarac to be okay. The food truck owner is touched by the mother's words and actions and goes out to to her. They both hug before she drives off.

The livestream chat celebrates the woman saying she is an amazing mother. Paying Sarac back so he does not suffer from the hands of her son and putting her struggling son into treatment is the actions of just that – an amazing mother and person.
