He’s already set for life so why is he STILL doing this?! That’s the question many people in the community are asking. But what exactly is this all about?
If someone like Felix “xQc” Lengyel has already earned millions of dollars, you’d probably expect him to sit back, relax, and stream purely for fun. Or maybe not stream at all anymore, buy a private island, and just chill for the rest of his life. But the exact opposite seems to be happening: the streaming megastar still takes sponsored deals, and a lot of people simply don’t understand why.
He Says It’s Not About the Money
If money no longer really matters, why would someone still keep working with brands and doing paid streams on a regular basis? That exact question was brought up to xQc during a recent livestream, and his response suggests there’s much more behind these deals than just another massive paycheck.
During his May 4 stream, fellow streamer StableRonaldo directly asked him why he still accepts sponsorships despite already being financially set for life.
xQc responded pretty clearly: according to him, these deals aren’t just about money, they’re strategically important. He explained that anyone who wants to stay successful long-term in the streaming and gaming industry has to actively maintain their brand.
In his view, it’s about building relationships with companies, staying relevant, and keeping future opportunities open. Sponsorships, therefore, are less about immediate income and more about career positioning.
No Matter How Rich You Are: Multi-Million Deals Are Hard To Ignore
Even though xQc insists money isn’t the main reason, the numbers involved are still massive. In the past, he revealed that certain Kick gambling streams can earn him around $200,000 per session, regardless of how long the stream lasts.
On top of that, his 2023 deal with Kick has reportedly been valued somewhere between $70 million and over $100 million, depending on the source. And let’s be honest, those are absolutely insane numbers.
So to sum it all up: according to xQc, it’s about influence, reach, and staying powerful within the industry, even if the millions attached to those deals are obviously still pretty nice.
What do you think about the whole situation? Do you believe xQc is simply trying to justify making even more money through sponsorships? Or do you think he’d actually get bored without streaming and all the chaos that comes with it? Let us know in the comments!
