Twitch Streamer Snowcone says that Streamer University is more prestigious than attending Harvard.
Kai Cenat’s Streamer University is probably the biggest streaming event on social media. For its around 150 content creators, it is a huge opportunity to establish themselves as streamers and learn about the subject. But could it be more prestigious than attending Harvard University?
“Streamer University Will Do More For Your Life Than Getting Into Harvard Will.”
Streamer University is a multi-day content creation event hosted by Twitch icon Kai Cenat. It's similar to an actual college experience, with established creators teaching as professors.
This year's contestants have not yet been revealed, but the official website says that the applications have been "sealed" and that fans should wait for an official announcement by Cenat on Twitch.
Many try to get accepted into the program, but the acceptance rate is reportedly 0.01%. Last year, Twitch streamer Snowcone, who currently has around 120,000 followers on the platform, was fortunate enough to earn a spot in the event, which seems to have changed her life. During one of her streams, she told her viewers that getting into the program could be more life-changing for aspiring content creators than getting into Harvard.
“Another university, right? I’m not gonna lie chat, this is even a hot take: Streamer University will do more for your life than getting into Harvard will. And I’m serious. This is not a clip farm. Streamer University has more opportunity to change your life than getting into Harvard. I’m deadass. I’m actually so serious. Like, I have never seen someone blow up from going to Harvard, I’ma just be honest.”
She continued by pointing out that attending an actual university can be very expensive. You could end up spending more money on your education than you earn as a streamer in one month. Snowcone said:
“Streamer University does more for you than going to a school like Harvard. Not only that, but going to Harvard costs like 400k. That’s just a waste of money, bruh. That’s one good month of streaming after Stream University. And you’re gonna waste it on going to Harvard?”

While this may be true for her, it should be noted that Streamer University does not automatically guarantee success. Many people have pointed out that most of last year’s attendees didn’t achieve success.
For aspiring streamers, Kai Cenat’s program is a significant opportunity, perhaps even more so than earning a bachelor's degree. However, for everyone else, Harvard is probably the better – and safer – option.
