Jynxzi‘s Private LoL Tournament Starring Some of The Biggest Names on Twitch

Is Jynxzi done with Rainbow Six Siege or is he just trying out something new?

Jynxzi's First Interaction With LoL

He calls it an addiction; others would call it a passion. Recently, streamer Jynxzi has discovered a new game for himself, for the past two weeks he has been diving into League of Legends.

The streamer states: „My first week of League literally reminds me of my first week of Siege (…) “, implying that it isn’t just a hype, but a true grind he is following like he does in Rainbow 6 Siege.

A big part of the LoL community gives him a warm welcome, this is not usually the case, as the community is known for its toxicity and scaring away new players.

Live Coaching and Potential New Trend

Thanks to live coaching from streamers like Tyler1 and Dantes he is progressing faster than the average LoL newcomer. This might be the reason for the acceptance by the community.

Tyler1 might be one of the most well–known streamers to define the peak of the North American LoL streaming scene. Famous for his toxic era, countless bans and coming back as a “reformed”, non-toxic Draven machine.

For Jynxzi that means, that he automatically legitimizes himself in front of the player base by streaming with such an icon.

On the other hand, there are some users that think he will drop the game soon or that he just does it for clip potential of his streams. This is understandable as far as seeing him grind some games in the past and then dropping them again.

But even though he gets some negative comments as well, the positive reactions outweigh.

Jynxzi is visibly entertained playing LoL and it appears he really wants to understand the core mechanics of the game, learn different champs and make progress.

The acceptance by the community, the will to get better, the attention he gets from others and his own streaming audience are reasons why some users think he might lead the NA LoL scene to new revival.

This could be crucial regarding the declining player numbers of League.

Content Creators Meet MOBA

Right now, Jynxzi is organizing a creator tournament on 11th of May.

There will be 40 streamers and content–creators taking part in the event. Eight teams with five players each, of which four will be low ranks/newcomers and one will be a High–Elo–Rank. Until now, the following creators have confirmed their participation:

  • Jynxzi
  • Tyler1
  • Doublelift
  • Pobelter
  • Ludwig Ahgren
  • Disguised Toast
  • MoistCr1TiKal
  • MrBeast
  • CouRageJD
  • Noway4u
  • Yassou
  • ohnePixel
  • AloisNL
  • Emiru
  • Dantes
  • Pokelawls
  • LosPollosTV
  • StableRonaldo
  • ArrowCS
  • Willjum
  • Yusuf7n
  • Arky
  • Mooda
  • RayAsianBoy
  • Sketch
  • Marlon
  • Kingsman
  • Deji
  • Bradley Martyn
  • HiVise

In addition, CaseOh was mentioned but not confirmed.

Jynxzi confirmed these names in his stream and the lineup promises an interesting event. Very competitive High–Ranked LoL players such as Tyler1 and Noway4u next to FPS–Streamers like ohnePixel or MoistCr1tiKal meet entertainment creators such as MrBeast.

To balance the competition Jynxzi added the so called “Challenger Rule”; all participants on Challenger (highest LoL rank) must play “Non-Damage Supports”. In addition, they will be the draft leaders for each team to create even competition.

Reddit users discuss the rule, while some say it is a very creative initiative to balance the event, others say the High–Elo players will dominate regardless and might carry their whole team.

It seems to be less a competitive contest and more of a chaotic entertainment event. Part of the LoL community nostalgically compares it to the Tyler1 Championship Series (TCS) with its chaos and competitive League spirit.

The mix of international streamers and creators from different communities promises an entertaining tournament in which twitch culture meets League of Legends.
