After facing backlash over her recent “babydoll dress controversy”, Olivia Rodrigo finally released her highly anticipated new album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love”. She will also go on her “The Unraveled Tour” to perform her newest songs for her fans. In a recent interview with KISS FM UK, she discussed her past experiences and shared some surprising details about her fans' behavior at her concerts.

Concert Fans Go Too Far: Olivia Rodrigo Speaks Out

Everyone wants to see their favorite singer up close, but some people go to extremes to make that happen. Some of the more "normal" things people do to get a place in the first row include waiting in front of the venue for hours or, in the worst case, camping the night before the concert. This applies no matter the weather, whether it’s hot, raining, or even the cold of winter.

But what Olivia shared in her interview was even more extreme. She said that sometimes fans wear diapers to avoid losing their good view because they have to use the restroom. In case you were wondering – Yes, she can smell it!

"I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be in front row of the show. And that’s been an experience as a performer that I have smelled."

On top of that, people don't seem ashamed of their ridiculous behavior. In a clip from one of her concerts, Olivia can be seen reading a fan-made poster that says, "Wearing diapers for front row." The 23-year-old singer seems visibly confused and asks, "Is that true? Did you guys wear diapers?"

This type of behavior is actually not completely new. Similar stories circulated during Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour", when people discussed how to avoid leaving their good spots during the show, which lasted over three hours.

However, it's not just the artist who can smell it – the people around you can too, and they've been waiting with you for hours. With behavior like this, you not only make the experience unpleasant for the artist, but also for the other fans around you. And shouldn’t concerts be a positive and fun experience for everyone?

Adult diapers are designed to help people with incontinence. They are not meant for people just to wear all day and night so they can avoid going to the bathroom.

What’s your take on this? Would you ever go this far to see your favorite artist up close? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
