Three True Crime YouTubers have been arrested, while trying to investigate the case of Nancy Guthrie.
Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since February 1. The authorities believe that she was taken against her will in the middle of the night. The case remains an open investigation since there still haven’t been any updates. It has drawn international attention and even caught the eye of some True Crime YouTubers and streamers. The YouTubers' investigation into the missing person's neighborhood in Tucson, Arizona ultimately led to their arrest.
Three Arrests On Public Nuisance
Nancy Guthrie’s home has attracted plenty of true crime fans over the past few months, leading to a clear disruption of her neighbors’ daily lives. Even though the police tried to communicate with them, there were still multiple cases of unwanted filming, trespassing, and blocking roads.
YouTuber Alexander Zabel Jr., the face behind the true crime channel “Criminal Network”, Troy Lewis “DAA Juice” Bradshaw of the “DAA JUICE” YouTube channel, and Damian Todd Enderle, who manages a local crime blog, were arrested on June 8 after police received multiple complaints.
Zabel was accused of obstructing a highway and public nuisance and was arrested at a home on Tucson’s east side. Public nuisance was also the reason for the arrest of the other two internet personalities, who were taken into custody directly in Guthrie’s neighborhood. Enderle has already been released.
Police reported that they also received a video of a man urinating behind a tent, which drew particular attention.
After this incident, police decided to take a stronger approach. Kevin Adger, a spokesperson for the police department responsible for the Guthrie case, said: “Sheriff Nanos will no longer tolerate behavior that disrupts the community or violates the law. Effective immediately, individuals found in violation of the law may be cited and released on a first offense.”
On the other hand, the video’s posted on “DAA JUICE’s” YouTube channel don't necessarily show any signs of specific wrongdoings. Even when the police officers approached him, he remained calm and showed no signs of aggressive behavior.
Backlash Against The Police Department
The arrest has sparked a lot of backlash against the police Pima County Sheriff’s department, which is responsible for the arrests. The Pima County Deputy’s Organization, a labour group, has publicly called out the department’s sheriff Chris Nanos on X.
This evening, two subjects were arrested as they were live streaming in the Guthrie neighborhood.

This arrest order personally came from Sheriff Nanos via chain of command.
The public can once again see why we fight so hard to rid ourselves of him.
What Happened to Nancy Guthrie?
While the disruption in her neighborhood and the arrest of the YouTubers has become its own issue, Nancy Guthrie’s case remains unsolved. Authorities are still investigating but claim they are “getting closer” to identifying a suspect. If you have any information, you can contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.
