“This is one of the first times that I've ever been just overly comfortable." Famous Rapper Megan Thee Stallion seemed very happy in her relationship with NBA player Klay Thompson. Sadly, her happiness didn’t last long. On April 25, she accused her partner of cheating in a public Instagram story.
Megan And Klay – A Celebrity Power Couple?
In July of last year, Megan announced her relationship with Thompson by posting a picture of herself at a pool with the basketball player in the background, which has since been removed. Fans quickly realized that the musician might have a new boyfriend. Through her social media, the public was able to follow their relationship – from a golf date to tropical vacations to a blue Bentley. Everything looked perfect. She even described him as "the nicest person she has ever met."
“I Need A REAL Break After This One …”
But what seemed like paradise was actually the opposite in real life. Megan’s Instagram story from April 25 sounds like her heart was truly broken:
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house … got “cold feet”. Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don’t know if you can be 'monogamous????' B**** I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.”
In a statement to People Magazine, she shared her thoughts on the incident:
"Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
