Ludwig Calls Riot Games a “Terrorist Organization” After Tournament Exit

Ludwig’s exit from Jynxzi’s League of Legends tournament came with some unsolicited feedback for the developer. After Doublelift’s team eliminated his squad, the streamer tore into influencer competitions, complained about the game’s client, and called Riot Games a “terrorist organization” during a furious post-match rant.

The remark was hyperbole born of gaming frustration, and his complaints were considerably more familiar: an unpleasant match, a punishing skill gap, and software he wanted fixed. He also declared that he would never play again. Whether that promise survives the next invitation is another matter.

Losing Was Only Part of the Complaint

Ludwig competed alongside Humzh and other teammates in the October 14 event. After their elimination, he acknowledged making mistakes before turning his attention to the broader premise of influencer tournaments. Mixing creators with dramatically different levels of experience, he argued, leaves weaker players spending their evening getting demolished.

He described these competitions as the “worst idea known to man.” From the audience’s perspective, a mismatch can produce entertaining chaos. For the person stuck on the receiving end, the appeal is understandably harder to appreciate.

His frustration also became personal when he singled out European player Croco, claiming that his opponent had accumulated roughly 8,000 hours in the game. That figure was Ludwig’s assertion, but the complaint behind it was clear: he resented facing someone with so much more experience.

Then, amid the insults, came a thank-you to Jynxzi for the invitation. Ludwig could apparently appreciate being included while wishing he had spent his evening doing almost anything else.

A Suggestion to Keep Playing Sent Riot Into the Firing Line

When a viewer asked about returning to the Rift, Ludwig rejected the idea and redirected his anger toward Riot. Alongside the exaggerated insult, he argued that the company should spend money improving the client instead of putting it toward Jynxzi’s event.

That distinction matters: his criticism of the client was a separate grievance, not evidence that a technical problem had caused the tournament defeat. The loss simply gave him an opening to unload on the wider experience of playing League of Legends.

His promise to quit was delivered in the same burst of frustration. For now, it says more about how badly the evening went than it establishes a permanent retirement.

The rant, at least, seemed to do its job. “I feel better,” Ludwig admitted afterward. Doublelift’s team got the win; Ludwig got a little relief from complaining about it.
