The H3 Podcast crew cuts ties with Ethan Klein after Hila alleges a six-month affair. Ethan says he is giving up his stakes in their shared businesses.
The H3 Podcast crew is prepared to continue without Ethan Klein. Continuing while he still earns money from the show, however, is off the table.
That was the condition laid out after Hila Klein accused her husband of having an affair lasting more than six months. With the podcast on indefinite hiatus, Ethan has since said he is working to give up his ownership and financial interests in their shared businesses, including H3, Teddy Fresh, and Teddy Glow.
A relationship breakdown has now become a reckoning for a business built around the couple, and for the people whose livelihoods depend on it.
Hila Says His Explanations Kept Changing
Ethan announced the podcast’s indefinite hiatus on October 22. Hila’s statement followed, describing months of suspicions, dismissive answers, and what she alleged were repeated lies.
According to Hila, she raised concerns because she sensed something was wrong. When nothing changed, she said she began questioning herself instead of her husband.
She alleged that his account shifted as she pressed for answers: what he initially described as a kiss became emotional cheating, before he eventually admitted to an affair lasting more than six months. Hila said she still did not believe she knew its full extent.
Her statement described the loss of trust in someone who had been her partner across almost every part of her life: marriage, parenting, and business. The couple have three sons, and Hila said she was concentrating on caring for herself and her children while navigating separation and co-parenting.
The Crew Refuses to Carry On Under Ethan
The response from the H3 team left little room for interpretation. In a statement posted through the podcast’s Instagram account, crew members said they would not continue “working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way.”
They expressed support for Hila, described their anger and heartbreak, and asked viewers for time while they worked out what came next. There was no replacement-host announcement or reassuring return date attached.
That uncertainty has consequences beyond the next upload. Associate producer AB Ayad also spoke publicly about the situation, describing the podcast as a dream job for himself and his wife, Lena. With a baby on the way, he said the prospect of an unknown future was particularly frightening. He separately emphasized his support for Hila.
For the audience, H3’s disappearance interrupts a viewing routine. For its staff, it raises questions about work, income, and a show they have helped build.
Ethan’s Exit Would Extend Beyond the Microphone
In Instagram Stories posted on October 23, Ethan said he was working with Hila to remove his ownership and financial interests from their podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow, and other joint ventures.
His stated reason was to allow people to support Hila and the crew without enriching him. He also praised the team and expressed confidence that they could make a successful show.
In a separate message, Ethan asked people not to approach his family for comments, saying they shared the public’s disappointment. Those statements did not provide a detailed response to Hila’s account of the alleged affair.
The proposed business changes remain a plan, rather than a publicly confirmed completed transfer. Ethan did not give a date for finishing them, and the crew’s statement left the podcast’s future unresolved.
H3 could return with familiar faces and a very different ownership arrangement, but the crew has drawn a hard line: Ethan cannot remain part of the show or its profits.
