Don't feel like grinding through every single game?
Want to earn some extra money through Lootday without spending several hours every evening grinding a mobile game? That doesn't rule out many offers at all. What matters more is choosing the right game and, most importantly, the right milestones. Using Pixel Flow!, Hero Wars: Alliance and Rise of Kingdoms as examples, we'll show you what casual players should look out for.
Smaller Rewards Can Be Better Than the Maximum Amount
A high maximum reward obviously looks attractive. As a casual player, however, you shouldn't let that number influence your decision too much. With many Lootday offers, the total amount is spread across numerous milestones – and the final ones in particular can require significantly more time than the early objectives.
Pixel Flow!, for example, is much closer to a traditional casual game. You can solve individual puzzles in short sessions and gradually build up your progress. If you already enjoy puzzle games, an offer like this can be easier to fit into short breaks than a game that requires several long sessions every day.
That doesn't mean every Pixel Flow! milestone is automatically quick to complete. Always check the individual tasks and their deadlines before you start.
15 to 30 Minutes a Day Can Already Be Enough
Casual players don't necessarily have to look for games where they can make as much progress as possible in a single session. Titles that reward regular short check-ins can often be more interesting.
Hero Wars: Alliance is a good example. Upgrading characters, collecting resources and developing your team takes place over a longer period. You don't necessarily need to play for hours at a time, but you should return regularly.
This is where the difference between playtime and commitment becomes important. A game might only demand 20 minutes of active attention per day and still be a poor fit if a Lootday objective requires consistent progress over several weeks.
If you know you'll only play on weekends, you should evaluate these offers differently from someone who opens the game for a few minutes every evening.
With Strategy Games, Choose Your Goals in Advance
Rise of Kingdoms demonstrates particularly well why the maximum reward doesn't necessarily need to be the main goal for casual players.
Early tasks such as reaching the first City Hall levels are very different from later Power targets or unlocking high-tier troops. The further you progress, the more resources and time upgrades require. Progression isn't linear: just because the first five milestones went smoothly doesn't mean the final one will be equally realistic.
Strategy games can still work surprisingly well for casual players. Construction, research and other timers can continue while you're not actively playing. Short, regular check-ins can therefore be more effective than one long session.
However, check the complete milestone list before starting. The first four rewards might be realistic for your schedule, while the final three simply require more grinding than you're willing to do. That's completely fine.
Work Backwards From the Deadline
For every Lootday offer, you should ask yourself three questions:
- How much time do I have to complete the milestone?
- How regularly can I realistically play the game?
- Would I still enjoy the gameplay if I don't reach the maximum reward?
A goal with a 30-day deadline may initially sound relaxed. But if it effectively requires activity on 25 of those days and you only play occasionally, it can still be the wrong choice.
The same applies to in-app purchase milestones. Just because an offer provides an additional reward for making a purchase doesn't mean you have to complete it. Always consider the requirements, purchase price and reward separately.
The Best Casual Offer Fits Your Normal Gaming Routine
For casual players, Lootday isn't about completing every offer 100%.
A puzzle game like Pixel Flow! can work well for short sessions. Hero Wars: Alliance is better suited to players who want to spend a few minutes regularly working on long-term progression. And a more extensive strategy game like Rise of Kingdoms can work too – as long as you're realistic about which milestones you actually want to pursue.
Start the game through Lootday, pay attention to tracking, new-user requirements and deadlines, and don't base your decision entirely on the maximum reward displayed. For casual players, the best Lootday offer isn't necessarily the one with the highest reward. It's the one whose achievable milestones already fit the amount of time you want to spend playing mobile games.
If you have any further questions about an offer or would like to provide feedback on the platform, you can contact the Lootday team at any time via the feedback bubble on Lootday or by email at support@lootday.com.
