What type of RAID player are you?
Many players automatically think of RAID: Shadow Legends as a traditional mobile game. In reality, however, a huge number of active players now spend most of their time playing on PC. Especially later in the game, when daily Dungeon farming, Clan Boss, Hydra, and long Auto-Battle sessions become more important, many accounts eventually move at least partially to desktop.
And that naturally raises the question: Is playing RAID on PC actually worth it?
Why many players eventually switch to PC
During the early game, RAID works perfectly fine on mobile. But later on, things start to change significantly.
A lot of RAID’s long-term gameplay revolves around:
- extended Auto-Runs
- Dungeon farming
- Clan Boss
- events
- Multi-Battles
- and long background grinding sessions overall
That’s exactly where PC starts becoming much more comfortable for many players.
A lot of people simply leave RAID running on a second monitor while:
- working
- studying
- watching streams or videos
- or even playing other games
And because of that, the overall grind often feels much more relaxed long term.
The biggest advantage on PC: convenience
For many players, the biggest difference between mobile and PC simply comes down to convenience.
On desktop:
- Auto farming feels smoother
- your phone stays free
- long sessions feel less exhausting
- and multitasking becomes much easier overall
Especially later-game activities like:
- Spider
- Dragon
- Minotaur
- Sand Devil
- Hydra
often involve long farming sessions. At that point, many players eventually start feeling more comfortable on PC than on mobile.
Performance and loading times are often better
Depending on the device, RAID also tends to run more smoothly and consistently on PC.
Older phones especially can struggle with:
- longer loading times
- battery drain
- overheating
- or weaker performance during long sessions
Meanwhile, the official desktop client runs very smoothly on many systems and is often far better suited for extended farming sessions.
Multi-Battles and long event grinds in particular usually feel much more comfortable on desktop.
Why many endgame players mostly play on PC
Once players reach midgame and endgame content, a huge amount of time goes into:
- gear farming
- team optimization
- Hydra
- Clan Boss
- and event grinding
At that point, RAID slowly becomes less of a “quick mobile game” and much more of a long-term progression game.
That’s exactly why many experienced players use:
- multiple windows
- guides
- HellHades Optimizer
- clan tools
- or external resources
while RAID runs in the background.
For more advanced content, desktop often simply feels much more practical overall.
Mobile still remains important
That doesn’t automatically mean mobile is worse, though.
Many players still mainly use their phone for:
- Daily logins
- short sessions
- quick Energy dumps
- or fast Arena runs
For many accounts, the long-term setup eventually becomes a mix of both:
- mobile for shorter sessions
- PC for longer farming and more complex content
And honestly, that’s how many active RAID players already play the game today.
Why the desktop client can also be interesting for Lootday users
RAID is currently also one of the larger desktop offers available on Lootday.
Because RAID often becomes much more comfortable on PC long term, many players already use the desktop client regularly for:
- extended farming sessions
- Dungeon grinding
- Clan Boss
- or event progression
Depending on the offer, desktop and mobile rewards may also differ significantly.
One important thing to keep in mind: Most Lootday offers currently only work for completely new accounts or new players
If you want to start an offer, you should therefore:
- launch RAID directly through the Lootday link
- allow in-game tracking permissions
- avoid interrupting downloads
- and avoid using an existing account whenever possible
so progression tracks correctly.
PC or mobile – which is actually better?
The honest answer: It depends heavily on how seriously you play RAID
Players who mainly:
- log in casually
- complete Daily Missions
- or run a few quick battles
will usually be completely fine on mobile.
But players who:
- farm extensively
- push events seriously
- optimize Hydra or Clan Boss
- or spend a lot of time in Auto-Battle
often end up moving at least partially to PC sooner or later.
Especially during midgame and endgame progression, convenience becomes surprisingly important in RAID.
