Batman and robin — 10. Batman & Robin

Heath Ledger as The Joker is possibly the most iconic Batman moment in the history of the franchise. One of the best performances ever, this combined with Bale's brooding Batman to create an absolutely frightening film that has long been considered the best in the franchise. Our review talked it up as "one of the best superhero films to ever grace the silver screen", and we absolutely stand by that belief. But how does it compare to the other films in the franchise? What about George Clooney and Christian Bale? What are the worst, and what are the best, Batman films in history? This, my friends, is going to be controversial as fork! Let's dive-on-in...

Keep in mind: we are only counting live-action Batman films. That means no Lego Batman and no animated Batman flicks. Additionally, we are not counting the Justice League films as Batman movies.
