Who's the coolest boss of them all?

Valheim boss bonemass — 5. Bonemass — No offense, big guy, but somebody has to rank last! Bonemass is utterly terrifying, with his poisonous green cloud and huge, blobby body covered with... well, BONES! DOTA fans used to playing Pudge will feel right at home around this guy... but we are Valheim players, so we'll try to slay him as fast as we can. (Credit: Iron Gate Studio)

Valheim boss the elder — 4. The Elder — Do they mean "elder" as in old and wise leader, or as in the elder tree... or is it BOTH? Whatever the case, good ol' Treebeard here is one of Valheim's most distinct and creepy creatures. Those glowing eyes get us every time. (Credit: Iron Gate Studio)

Valheim boss yagluth — 3. Yagluth — Big scary skelly? Check. Awesome glowing eyes? Check. Badass crown? Check. Simply put, Yagluth has it all! No fantasy game is complete without a badass skeleton king, and Valheim perfectly delivers on this front. (Credit: Iron Gate Studio)

Valheim boss Moder — 2. Moder — Fus-ro-dah! FUS-RO-DAH! Nope, it's not working. In this game, you'll have to use a bow and arrow to defeat this mighty Viking dragon, but the sensation is just as cool as what we felt killing our first evil lizard in Skyrim, all those years ago. Valheim boss eikthyr — 1. Eikthyr — This one might be the first, and therefore relatively weakest, of all the bosses, but it's also the coolest one! There's just something unique and special about exploring a tranquil forest, killing a bunch of Necks, chopping a bunch of wood, hunting deer, and collecting their trophies, only to come up against a mighty lightning-shooting, gold-like, stag. Valheim perfectly nails its sense of exploration, progression, and danger in an epic, mythological, and all-Viking world. Of course, traveling throughout each biome is tied to hard battles against the game's awesome bosses. There are currently five of those, and they are all unique, but you know EarlyGame - we gotta rank them! This is how we rate them: not by difficulty or in-game progression, but purely by their "awesomeness" factor. Let's see who wins the trophy for most awesome!
