BOCW Free Access Not Working Due To Server Problems
The BOCW Free Access Week has been suffering problems related to intermittent server issues over the last few days. The Free Access Not Working Error follows similar problems experienced during the Zombies Free Access Week back in January.
Why is BOCW Free Access Week Not Working?
This the BOCW Free Access Week Not Working problem is occurring because large volumes of users are attempting to access the servers simultaneously. When too many people try to access a server, often users will not be allowed to connect.
How To Fix BOCW Free Access Week Not Working
There is not really a fix for this problem, except to wait until the servers allow you to connect. This may be due to a lower volume of concurrent users. Either go, make yourself a cuppa tea, or plant your ass in that long virtual line, and wait your turn. Sorry, guys!

- Includes Team Deathmatch and Domination.
- Yamantau and Diesel Multiplayer maps are included.
- Sticks and Stones: A classic Party Mode returns in BOCW, every operator gets the same loadout, and if you eliminate someone with a Tomahawk, you send their score back to zero.
- Zombies: All new Outbreak Content is included, including the new region, and more.

The free access week for Black Ops Cold War's Multiplayer and Zombies Outbreak modes is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Console players can access the free access week via their system's store. You just need to search for "Cold War Free Trial", which is a separate download to the game itself. PC players need to access Battle.net, and select the option to "Play Free".
When Can I Access the BOCW Season 3 Free Access Week?
The Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Free Access week will run from Friday, April 23, to Wednesday, April 28. In summary, the latest Free Access Week grants free access to not just BOCW Season 3's Multiplayer content, but also Outbreak Mode in BOCW Zombies. Season 3 is pretty solid – and in BOCW, slightly less insulting than in Warzone – so this free access week is a great opportunity for players who want try it before sinking their hard-earned cash into a new game!
