With Season 3, the 80s setting has also arrived in Warzone. Not only has Verdansk '84 traveled back in time, but the loot in Warzone has also been replaced with Black Ops Cold War weapons. The weapons from BOCW are therefore also becoming more and more important in Warzone, and we already have a large selection of setup guides for you:

What is the PPSh-41 in Warzone & BOCW Season 3?

The PPSh-41 was newly added in Season 3, and is unlocked at level 15 of the Battle Pass. As the name of the weapon suggests, it is a weapon from the Second World War. Thus, the question arises: Can such an old weapon keep up with, say, the MP5 in Warzone? The PPSh-41 is characterized by a very high rate of fire, rather moderate damage, and pretty nasty recoil.

Don't think that this sounds too cool? That's why we're here with this fabulous setup guide: to show you how to get the most out of your PPSh-41!

In order to make our setup guide accessible to all players, regardless of the wildcard that they choose, we will again limit ourselves to the five most important attachments for the weapon. Those who use Gunslingers can use the remaining three slots according to their personal preference.

Our main focus with the PPSh-41 should be recoil and range. Thus, this is where we focused our attention in the above setup.

The GRU muzzle flash hider not only hides us on the minimap, but additionally increases range, bullet speed, and vertical recoil control. If we add the Special Command Barrel, range and bullet speed are boosted even further. The Speznas Grip reduces vertical and horizontal recoil, making the PPSh-41 much easier to control. The grip increases our speed when aiming, and the larger magazine is self-explanatory: high rate of fire = magazine emptying quicker...

With this setup, the recoil of the PPSh-41 is relatively easy to control, and you can hit at medium distances sometimes. However, thanks to the high rate of fire, and the large magazine, the PPSh-41 is especially dangerous at short distances, and should be paired with a ranged weapon.

Here, we recommend the Krig 6 or even a Sniper. If you want to play a World War II loadout, you can try the PPSh-41 and Kar98k combo...
