Treyarch Studios have teased Season 5 in a recent trailer, providing us with our first glimpse of BOCW and Warzone Season 5. Obviously, Treyarch will be teasing specifically BOCW Season 5 content, but what is introduced in BOCW will likely also be featured in Warzone. Let's take a look at the BOCW and Warzone Season 5 Teaser Trailer, and what we can discern from their Tweet.

Trust Treyarch to introduce a new Black Ops Cold War Season in the most cryptic way possible. A slow-zooming camera, moving closer and closer towards a plain suitcase, located suspiciously close to a park bench. What could this blind drop be? What does it mean for BOCW and Warzone Season 5? Well, first thing's first, let's check out the BOCW and Warzone Season 5 Teaser Trailer, then let's make some predictions...

BOCW and Warzone Season 5 is coming soon, but what happened in Season 4: Reloaded? Here's everything you need to catch up!

BOCW and Warzone Season 5 Teaser Trailer

The first Season 5 Teaser Trailer comes curtesy of Treyarch, with a cryptic Twitter message and a trailer showing a suitcase by a park bench. The narrator describes a mysterious situation, with the camera zooming further in and in and in, as she says the following:

"This is Wraith... Jackel brought down the satellites. The Verdansk tests are looking good, that clears the way for you. The job is go. I've made the drop. All the materials you need are there. Better pack warm, you're headed to Teufelsberg. Failure is not an option."

No, Treyarch, failure is certainly not an option. Especially after these last few seasons. Anyway, as she says that last sentence, a pair of boots run passed and someone grabs the suitcase from the bench. What on Earth is going on? Well, Treyarch gave us at least a little bit of a hint...

"After the destruction of the Jumpseat satellite constellation, critical data stolen from Yamantau is passed to an Operator with the unique skills to execute Stitch's endgame. The countdown to Season Five begins."

So, the satellites are down, data has been stolen, and we're off to some mysterious place? Other than that, and despite no official announcements having been made, there are a few hints here that could suggest a some new content for BOCW and Warzone Season 5...

What Does this Mean for BOCW and Warzone Season 5?

One thing that the first BOCW and Warzone trailer definitely teases is a new Operator and a new location. It is unclear whether the new location is something that's being added to Warzone, or perhaps a new Multiplayer map. Let's be real, though, this teaser is from Treyarch and it is unlikely that Raven Software will be added a new map to Warzone, so we are expecting that this is at least a teaser for Black Ops Cold War.

We expect that the location referenced in the trailer is actually Teufelsberg, a forest near Berlin in Germany. Apparently, this snowy-forest was used by the Americans during the Cold War to spy on Soviet communications from a hidden station. If you take a look at the hill on a map, you will notice that it is a raised hill on the western-side of Berlin, and houses a former "Field Station" that was used to spy on the East German's and the Soviets. It will be pretty cool if this turns out to be our next location in Black Ops Cold War Season 5.

Finally, a new Operator was clearly teased. Specifically, the data that has been stolen was given to an Operator "with the unique skills to execute Stitch's endgame. If that's not intriguing, we don't know what is! The only glimpse we got of the new operator were his or her boots, as he or she ran passed the bench and grabbed the suitcase. We have to say, Treyarch, we are starting to get pretty intrigued about BOCW and Warzone Season 5!
