Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Mode: Will CoD 2023 Have Zombies?

Call of Duty 2023, or MW3, may see the return of the popular Zombies mode, as suggested by recent leaks. Here is everything you need to know!

Call of Duty 2023 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and fans are eager to learn as much as they can about it. While there have been a few leaks and rumors about what we can expect from the game, nothing has been officially confirmed by Activision yet.

However, recent leaks suggest that Zombies, a fan-favorite mode, could be making a return in this year's installment. Fans of the mode will be thrilled to hear this news and are eagerly waiting for more information to be revealed.

Everything We Know About Modern Warfare 3's Zombies Mode

According to Insider Gaming, Call of Duty 2023 is expected to finally have a Zombies mode again, although it is uncertain how it will be structured.

Rumors suggest that it may not follow the traditional round-based gameplay format, a change that was met with a lot of criticism when it was first introduced with Black Ops Cold War in the form of the Outbreak mode. According to Tom Henderson, MW3 Zombies could be Outbreak 2.0. This would mean a big open-world-like map with a ton of Zombies to slay and several different objectives to complete. Think of DMZ with Zombies...

It's also interesting to note that a Zombies mode has never been in a Modern Warfare game before, but Sledgehammer Games is developing MW3 and they actually have a lot of experience with Zombies in CoD. However, it seems like Activision is still not 100% sure if they want to include the Zombies mode into the full premium release or rather release it as a free-to-play experience, much like they did with DMZ.
