At Gamescom on Wednesday evening (August 25) Call of Duty: Vanguard's gameplay was revealed for the first time. They took us through one of the campaign missions of the character Polina, and it looked incredible. Here's a rundown of everything we saw from Call of Duty: Vanguard's gameplay.
When Call of Duty: Vanguard was first 'discovered' via leakers back in March, people were initially negative. Many were simply jaded after BOCW's terrible release, others claimed that this was the year for Battlefield, and more still were simply not confident with Sledgehammer behind the wheel. But one by one, fans are changing their tune. Call of Duty: Vanguard - Gameplay At Gamescom
First came an interview in which a developer and voice actor spoke about the game and mentioned that it would be about the birth of special forces. We were then shown a mission where you play as Polina, a legendary Russian sniper. Here's the full clip:
The stealth mechanics and look of the game were absolutely stunning. Well, you can see that much for yourself.
Of particular interest to the Call of Duty hardcore will be the reticle on the sniper the character acquired, it had one of the most beautiful optics I've ever seen - cleaner even than the Kar.
