Call of Duty: Vanguard (a name which still hasn't been confirmed, and may in fact be Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard) is going to be revealed on August 19 according to multiple recent leaks. This is exactly what we would expect given BOCW's reveal, and so we're confident about this date. You can find all the details below.
The infamous leaker and industry insider Tom Henderson, as well as a less well-known but still reliable source who goes by the handle 'ModernWarzone' on Twitter, have both leaked the news today that Vanguard will be revealed on the 19th of this month (August for those reading at a later date). Interestingly, this is at the same time as Sony's State of Play event, which has left many wondering whether Sony will have the marketing rights over Vanguard. Either way, we know that Vanguard is coming this year, probably in November, so if these leakers are wrong, then we can say this much: Activision Blizzard are even further behind schedule than we thought...
Updated: When Will Call of Duty: Vanguard Be Revealed?
On August 19 at 10:30 PT (13:30 ET, 18:30 BST, 19:30 CEST). We originally thought it was starting 15 minutes later, as Henderson suggests beneath, but we've changed our prediction. Read the updated section below to see why.
A new rumor floating around is that the Vanguard reveal will be on August 19th at approx 10.45AM PDT via @NEXTGEN_ishere— Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) August 11, 2021
it's worth noting that the original tweet was removed via DMCA "by the copyright holder"
I've reached out to a few people to verify or dismiss the claims. pic.twitter.com/HFSgS2kGTd
And this was later followed up, and seemingly verified, by four people. So, yeah - make sure to be playing at that time, and not in the damn Gulag!
Update: Other leakers on Twitter have claimed that the event begins 15 minutes before this at 10:30 PT (13:30 ET, 18:30 BST, 19:30 CEST).

This seems like a small point, but with an in-game event like this, you need to be there at the exact minute it starts if you don't want to miss it. We obviously suggest that you get online 15 minutes earlier in case these leakers are right. It's only 15 minutes of your time if they're wrong, but if they're right and you stick with Henderson's prediction you might miss the event.

How Will Call of Duty: Vanguard Be Revealed?
It will almost certainly be revealed in the form of an Easter Egg in Warzone's Verdansk, as BOCW was last year with the strange 'remember your history' messages. Planes were recently datamined in Warzone, which at the moment, we don't have - we're limited to helicopters for aerial transport - so these planes will probably be used in the Vanguard reveal. Rather than being drivable to the player (seriously, don't get your hopes up), the planes will more likely be discoverable in one of the mil-base hangars or will be seen flying overhead or something.
Can We Trust These Leaks?
Tom Henderson and @ModernWarzone have been fairly reliable with leaks in Call of Duty recently. Now, of course, leaks like this will always bring a content creator lots of attention, so it's easy to see why someone might exaggerate what they know. But this reveal date would also match up with last year's BOCW release, so we think you can trust the information.
