The Gewehr 43 is a semi-auto ordinarily but we've got a little something special for you in this build. Here's the best loadout setup guide for the G-43.

Call of Duty: Vanguardhas launched with a ton of classic WWII guns, but for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from. Seriously, Vanguard offers ten attachments slots per weapon! Where do you even begin? This is madness! Don't worry, we've got all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides, And today: the G-43.

The G-43 will be known to those of you playing World at War back in the day. This was a fantastic weapon then, and although we still like it, it serves a different purpose in this game. It's effectively the marksman rifle thats closest to a sniper rifle; it's heavy, a little slow, and it packs more of a punch than other weapons in this class. But we're going to do something special with it.

Check out our tier ranking of every weapon in Vanguard for an idea of how well the G-43 places. In the meantime, let's talk setup...

The G-43 Attachment Setup

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Wyvern 570MM Full Auto
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
  • Stock: Fitzherbert Reinforced
  • Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
  • Magazine: .8mm Klauser 20 Round
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Tight Grip
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

Yep, a full auto barrel. Can you believe it? But seriously, this works. We haven't lost our minds - the recoil really isn't as bad as you would expect. This one attachment reworks the whole weapon and allows it to become a very heavy hitting assault rifle.

All the attachments here are chosen to support the full auto conversion, so they're focused on countering recoil and allowing accurate sustained fire. Once you've got this setup you can begin using the weapon as a slower, long-range AR, and believe us - you'll be pleased with the result. Looking for the perfect Marksman rifle?

The Equipment & Perks On An G-43 Loadout

From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:

  • Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Stuns
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Radar
  • Perk 3: Demolition
  • Field Upgrade: Armor Plates

The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for a G-43 loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armor Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
