Black Ops Cold War players have been experiencing increased PC Stuttering since the Season 5 Update. It seems that the issue occurs even on high-end PCs where you would expect a silky-smooth frame rate. It is uncertain what links Season 5 to the Stuttering problem, but since the issue has only really appeared since its release, we have to put two and two together.
It has been confirmed by many players now that Black Ops Cold War's PC Stuttering problem has been consistent across both high and low level hardware. The issue itself causes the game to freeze for a very short period of time. It might seem like not too big of a deal, but it is noticeable, and significantly hinders player's abilities to perform well only.
