The BOCW and Warzone Season 4 roadmap has now been revealed. We've got tons to look forward to, including a new Zombies map set in Berlin called Mauer der Toten. This could be a hugely popular map. We've got all the details below.
On Monday, June 14, the roadmap for future content in BOCW and Warzone was revealed. It gives us a picture of everything to look forward to in Season 4. There were so many great new additions to get excited for, and the new Operator Jackal looks like an absolute badass to enjoy it all with. One thing certainly piqued the interest of all Zombies fans though – a new map in Berlin called Mauer der Toten. This is a traditional, round-based Zombies map by the way, for anyone who's been a little confused with all the recent changes to Zombies.
What Do We Know About Mauer Der Toten?
We know that Mauer Der Toten is set in Berlin and will be a large, urban take on the classic round-based Zombies mode. Unfortunately, the news is buried beneath Outbreak content, which is just another indication that Treyarch are increasingly neglecting the traditional game–mode. Before we start ranting though, here's exactly what they've said about Mauer der Toten:
Taking place after the events of “Operation Excision” in Outbreak, the Dark Aether story will continue in Treyarch’s next Zombies map, where players will take on new terrors in war-torn East Berlin after a devastating zombie invasion has overtaken the city.
When Is Mauer Der Toten Coming?
Mauer Der Toten is coming in Season 4 as part of the midseason update - so presumably either on July 8 or July 15. We're sorry to say, it won't be available at launch, but there's so much other content to check out when Season 4 does drop, that you should be able to keep busy until then.
