What Should You Use In Warzone Now The Krig 6 Has Been Nerfed?

Disaster struck with Warzone Update 1.43 - the Krig 6 was nerfed. It was nerfed hard, and a lot of people are looking for an alternativewhile the meta is in flux. Here's our suggestion for the best weapons to replace the Krig 6.

First things first, here's what happened to the Krig-6:

  • Recoil increased.
  • Neck multiplier reduced from 1.3 to 1.1.
The Krig 6 dominated the scene even after several changes. [...] The Krig 6 is said to be a beginner-friendly assault rifle for long distances. [...] If the weapon is so easy to control that its theoretically fastest TTK becomes your normal TTK, that is a problem. [...] These changes place the Krig where it belongs - it becomes a first stepping stone for beginners.

Those dev notes are right, it was far too dominant. And the neck damage and recoil will hurt this weapon badly. Where do you turn now then dear readers?

What Should You Use Now The Krig-6 Has Been Nerfed?

The Krig-6 was filling two roles in Warzone, long-range AR and sniper support, and while it will be badly missed we think most players will find these the best substitutions for now:

  • Long-Range AR: C58
  • Sniper Support: Milano 821

The EM2 and the Grau are also worth mentioning as possible contenders to become the new long-range AR but the EM2 is too difficult for most and the Grau doesn't quite have the TTK. As Sniper Support though, the Milano is now clearly the standout choice.

You can find loadout guides for the C58 and the Milano beneath.

The Best Attachment Setup For The C58 In Warzone

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.5" Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum

The C58 will be difficult to get used to for most, but we think it's well worth adjusting to and within the capability of most players. And the attachment setup here should look pretty familiar to most.

For the suppressor, we went for the 'Agency Suppressor' to stay off the radar and boost range and velocity. The 45 Rnd Drum is giving those much–needed extra rounds, but without the lethal reduction to our ADS. The Field Agent Grip continues to do God's work in the recoil department (pretty much a given on most Warzone builds) and the Axial Arms 3x is the best mid-range optic available in BOCW.

The Best Attachment Setup For The Milano 821 In Warzone

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 10.4" Task Force
  • Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd Drum

The Milano 821 is a fantastic weapon. It isn't a shredder but its TTK is competitive enough to keep you safe until the 60m range, at which point you'll swap to your Swiss or Kar anyway.

We went for the Agency Suppressor to bring that range up a little. We've forsaken an optic on this Milano as it's a sniper support build. The extra ammunition is an obvious pick, as is the heavier barrel to control recoil. But on a slightly less conventional note, we've gone for a laser sight to boost hip-fire.
