After being delayed by 24 hours, we finally have Warzone Season 5. As with every season, there's a lot to break down and dig our teeth into. But let's focus on the new weapons, specifically the TEC-9, and exactly what you'll want for attachment setups and loudouts with this new SMG.
The TEC-9 will be familiar to many as a typical drive-by SMG. It's cheap, it's functional, and it looks pretty badass. So it's going to be fun to use. I'll cut to the chase, though, this weapon is semi-auto by default and can only be made burst or fully automatic (the only fire mode that would ever be desirable) via a muzzle attachment. That means you cannot have this weapon fully automatic and suppressed at the same time. This in addition to its natural failings as an SMG make the TEC-9 essentially irrelevant to the meta discussion. This will be fun for multi though, and there are worse options for a switch-out if you just want to have a laugh with it.

- Stock: Raider Stock
If we can't take the suppressor anyway, then we'll be running this as a loud and proud SMG for emergencies and building internals. For that reason we're not going to bother with recoil reduction or aiming stability, instead we're going for mobility and responsiveness. This is a standard attachment configuration for SMGs being spec'd for this role.

The TEC-9 can't stand on its own two feet strongly enough to be run as a Sniper Support, so instead, we'll take it as the switch-out to the more generalist, long-range FARA builds. In this role, we can have some fun when things get up close and personal, hence, the choice of stuns over a beat.
