Besides the already leaked weapons coming in Warzone Season 4, the new roadmap revealed two additional weapons coming at launch – the C58 assault rifle and the MG 82 light machine gun. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect from the C58 AR, a weapon that might see its way into the meta.
Raven and Treyarch are pulling out all the stops with Warzone Season 4. We've already learned about loads of exciting new additions, my personal highlights being the new Gulag map, and the – – hopefully – return of minigun helicopters. Just hours ago, we also had two new weapons revealed in the roadmap for Warzone Season 4 - the C58 and the MG 82.
Now, these are both exciting and potentially offer just what both weapon classes need for each respective role, but we'll be dealing with the C58 in this article; everything you should expect from the weapon and how it might influence the game.

What Is The C58 Assault Rifle in Warzone Season 4?
The C58 is based on the CETME Model C, a Spanish rifle of the Cold War, and a big influence on the designs of the G3 and the FAL. Many people might have mistaken the rifle in the image above as the FAL with the Beefeater skin for that reason. CETME Model Cs are fully automatic and are chambered in a higher caliber than most assault rifles - 7.62 x 51mm NATO. Expect a slow rate of fire though, somewhere around 550 RPM. Luckily, Activision likes to faithfully recreate weapons from real-world equivalents, so this gives us enough of a sense of what the weapon will be like in play.
Will The C58 Be Any Good In Warzone Season 4?
The C58 could be really strong in Warzone Season 4 - it should have high damage, good range, and should be capable of fully automatic fire. The only fear here is that they make the weapon just too slow, either in fire rate or ADS. In that situation, the weapon could become another Oden, in other words, terrible. But we're quietly confident that Raven will want to avoid that themselves.

The C58 will be one of the free rewards on the Battlepass, available to all players, once they reach level 31.
When Is The C58 Coming To Warzone?
The new C58 assault rifle is coming at the launch of Warzone Season 4 - so Thursday, June 17, 00:00 ET (05:00 BST, 06:00 CEST). If you want the C58 immediately, then you will need to buy the Battlepass with 20 tier skips for 2400 CP as soon as it's available. That costs about $20 USD.
