Just like last year with Black Ops Cold War, Season 6 will be the last season before the release of the next Call of Duty game. Vanguard will be released on November 5, and will start a new season cycle for Warzone. With Iron Trials and the "The Numbers" Event, Season 5: Reloaded brought some exciting new content, but what does the final Black Ops Cold War Season bring to Warzone?
Before we get started, here's a teaser for Warzone Season 6 that was leaked on Twitter. Even if it has not been officially confirmed, leaks are often correct, and the picture of Alex Mason looks pretty bloody official indeed:

Warzone Season 6 Release Date
Warzone Season 6 will release on October 7. There were several indicators that already pointed to this date. On one hand, a season usually lasts around eight weeks, and on the other hand, the Season 5 Battle Pass ends here. In addition, October 7 is a Thursday, the day on which the Playlist Update goes live every week. Of course, the start of the new season can always be postponed by a few days at short notice, but October 7 wsa now officially confirmed.

Since Call of Duty: Vanguard launches on November 5, and could coincide with Season 6: Reloaded, we are wondering whether Season 6: Reloaded will possibly add some Vanguard content. Warzone's full Vanguard integration will not take place until the end of November, when Season 1 will begin.
Warzone Season 6 Map Changes
Warzone Season 6 will be the last season in which we can romp around in Verdansk. With the integration of Vanguard, Verdansk will be replaced by a new Pacific map. It is not yet known whether, and which changes, will come to Verdansk in Warzone Season 6. However, the Season 6 trailer is showning a lot of explosions around Verdansk. It almost looks like the whole map is collapsing so maybe the map changes will be bigger than we thought...
Warzone Season 6 Weapons
As usual, there will be two new weapons in the Warzone Season 6 Battle Pass, and at least one more that will be added later in the season. The Season 6 cinematic trailer already gave us a short glimpse of the new weapons:
- Galil (Assault Rifle): A Call of Duty classic. Right now the CR-56 AMAX basically does the job of the Galil, but could this be an improvement?
- Lever Action / Shotgun (Marksman Rifle): This is some kind of lever action weapon, perhaps a shotgun?
- LAPA SM-03: A close-range SMG, similar to the Uzi.
We are especially excited about the introduction of Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons in Warzone. Will they be as amazingly OP again as the BOCW guns were when they got introduced in December 2020? In any case, we have already tested all the Vanguard weapons that were featured in the beta:
Warzone Season 6 Operators
If the teaser picture for Season 6 is legit, we expect that Alex Mason will be a new Warzone Operator. Of course, there will also be at least one new operator in the Season 6 Battle Pass, and more over the course of the season. It will be unlocked with the purchase of the Battle Pass, and will probably also get a special skin for completing the Battle Pass.

Warzone Season 6 Halloween Event
Yes, there will be another Halloween event in Warzone this year, which according to leaks is called "All Hallows Eve". Nothing has been officially announced yet, but a few leaks have already revealed which Halloween skins we could get. In addition to Ghostface from Scream, there should also be a Donnie Darko bundle.
