How To Fix You Have Been Disconnected From The Call Of Duty Servers Error

Try the following solutions and attempt to reconnect after each stage:

  1. Close the app and restart it. It seems obvious, but it really can solve this issue.
  2. Check if you are running the most recent version of the game. If not then update it.
  3. Try resetting your router with a simple power off and power on.
  4. Advanced Solution: If you're on console then change your DNS settings to the following,
    1. Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8.
    2. Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.
  5. Advanced Solution If you know how to enable port forwarding on your router, then you can try the following,
    1. PC
      1. TCP: 3074,27014-27050
      2. UDP: 3074,3478,4379-4380,27000-27031,27036
    2. PlayStation
      1. TCP: 1935,3478-3480
      2. UDP: 3074,3478-3479
    3. Xbox
      1. TCP: 3074
      2. UDP: 88,500,3074-3075,3544,4500

Note: We don't recommend port forwarding unless you have the technical knowledge to resolve any mistakes that might be made during the process.

Are The Connection Errors Your Problem, Or Server–Side?

Sometimes you can be disconnected from the Call Of Duty servers because of their own internal issues. This was the case for many this past weekend, July 11. It was so bad, in fact, that even the CDL was affected during a live event. To know if this is the case, our best advice is to check Raven Software's Twitter. They usethis as their main point of contact with the community and will update it if they have issues.
