This year’s Dota 2 arcana vote is going to come to an end soon as only two weeks remain before we find out the winner. We’re now down to the final four.

The Dota 2 2020 Battle Pass still has a few surprises left and one of them is the arcana vote. The tradition started back in 2014 when the first arcana vote was held. In case you’re wondering what an arcana actually is – it’s a skin of the highest quality that often includes model changes, new animations, visuals, modified voice lines and sometimes even new ones.

The Arcana Winners So Far

While only the first place in each arcana vote gets an actual skin, all of the runner-ups received some sort of consolation prize. Here are all the heroes that made it to the finals in previous years:

  • 2014 - Juggernaut vs. Phantom Assassin (winner)
  • 2015 - Queen of Pain vs. Zeus (winner)
  • 2016 - Io vs. Juggernaut (winner)
  • 2017 - Rubick vs. Pudge (winner)
  • 2018 - Faceless Void vs. Rubick (winner)
  • 2019 - Windranger vs. Ogre Magi (winner)

The 2020 Battle Pass also added some arcanas with The One True King for Wraith King, The Eminence of Ristul for Queen of Pain, and the Compass of the Rising Gale for Windranger (still unreleased).

Who’ll Win it This Year?

The remaining four are:

  • Faceless Void
  • Sniper
  • Spectre
  • Witch Doctor

As the community has already noted, it’s looking very purple. Faceless Void already made it to the finals in 2018, but he never received anything for it. If any of the other three make it to the end stage it’ll be a first time for them. Void seems like the most likely winner, but hey anything could happen!

We already saw the impossible when Witch Doctor managed to take out Invoker in the previous round. Let’s face it we’re all secretly hoping for that Gun & Capri Sun skin. Who’s your favorite of the four? Who do you think will make it to the end? Share your opinion on our Facebook page!
