The first season of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 is already halfway done as week four is behind us. Check out what happened and who’s going to the lower division.

Dota 2 fans have waited long for the return of the game’s competitive scene, and 2021 is shaping up to be a good year. The first season of the Dota Pro Circuit has just two weeks left. When it's over, the top teams will battle it out in the following Singapore Major. Furthermore, Epic Esports Events have also announced the return of the Epic League for its third season, and it’ll be conveniently scheduled between the end of the league and the major.

So what happened in DPC 2021 Week 4?

Europe

Another week in which Team Secret remains undefeated. The team is currently 5-0 and have yet to lose a series. This time they went through Alliance, but it wasn’t all bad for the Swedish team as they earned a point by taking out Tundra before that. Vikin.gg lost to Highcoast but then, to everyone’s surprise, managed to defeat OG. If there’s one team that may drop to the lower division it’s HCE.

Much like Secret in the EU, Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere are dominating the CIS region. The two teams haven't suffered a loss yet and they'll face each other in the final series of the final week of the DPC. Coincidence? It was a good week for Team Unique as they managed to defeat both NoTechies and Team Empire. NT and Empire will most likely drop to the Lower Division, as they're both 1-4 in the current standings.

North America

As you've probably expected, EG and Quincy Crew continue to lay waste in NA. Much like Fnatic and Neon, the two teams will finally clash this week so you better mark February 18 on your calendar. It'll be an interesting day! Week 4 was a total disaster for Black N Yellow with two losses versus A-Team and QC. Surprisingly, Peter "PPD" Dager's S A D B O Y S lost to Undying. A-Team, Black N Yellow and 5ManMidas are all in danger of dropping to the Lower Division.

South America

The beastcoast region continues to be worthy of the name. The biggest surprise in the region are Infamous, a team which was one of the favorites but currently sits at the very bottom. The week wasn't kind to them with two losses against NoPing and Thunder Predator. Latam Defenders are also in a similar situation and things are looking grim for both teams. The remaining five teams between beastcoast and the bottom are all evenly matched so far.
