TEAM LIQUID: Liquid have been competing at almost every Dota 2 event there was. The team didn't have it easy in the most competitive region, but they still managed to defeat Team Secret at their peak and take the title at ESL One Germany. PSG.LGD: The collaboration between the Chinese LGD Gaming and Paris Saint Germain continues to be a massive success in the Dota 2 scene. The team lost its entire roster in September and hired a brand-new one just a few days later. ELEPHANT: In case you were wondering who PSG.LGD lost to, it's Elephant. Formerly known as Elephant.4AM, the team consists of some of the best players from China. In theory, many expected them to dominate the region. When it came to actual results, Elephant have already delivered with a couple of titles, beating the best in China. VIRTUS.PRO: Virtus.pro were a dominant force at almost every event they attended just a couple of years back. In 2020 the team was lacking results which led to the creation of a secondary roster under the name VP.Prodigy. Eventually, Prodigy surpassed their bigger brothers and took their place. OG: They're two-time TI champions and their captain is a fan-favorite - of course, we're talking about OG. The team did the impossible in the last two years by winning The International twice, back to back. For the majority of 2020 the team was trying out some new players, but the synergy was missing. TEAM SECRET: The top team in Europe and arguably one of the best in the world right now. Throughout the year Secret was on an unstoppable win streak for eight events. It seemed like nothing could stand in their way until they eventually lost. Participating in almost every event has probably taken its toll on the team leading to some burnout. 2020 is now over and you know what that means. It's time to take a look back at what happened throughout the year. Despite the global pandemic, we've had numerous Dota 2 events and some teams were more successful than others. Today we'll take a glimpse back at the best Dota 2 teams of 2020!
