American YouTuber and musician DDG, or PontiacMadeDDG Vlogs - as he's known on YouTube, has retired from creating content on the platform. He isn't messing around either - DDG deleted every single video on his channel and left just one: his retirement speech.

PontiacMadeDDG Vlogs will probably stop being a thing. This was, and technically still is, the name of Darryl Dwayne Granberry's YouTube channel. However, his YouTube career is over.

DDG Deletes YouTube Content to Focus on Music

Darryl has been living sort of a Hannah Montana life, except for the part where one half is kept secret. He has been a YouTuber and a musician for a while, balancing between the two. Up until now. PontiacMadeDDG Vlogs is no more, there's only DDG the rapper left.

DDG made his final upload yesterday: a video titled simply "i retire..." where he explains what he plans on doing and why he's doing it. The brief version is that he feels that music is his true passion and he wants to dedicate his full attention to it. His YouTube vlogs would obviously get in the way of that.

DDG went out on a high note. He took part in the YouTubers vs. TikTokers event where he was able to defeat Nate Wyatt. Although the YouTuber expressed disappointed at not winning by knockout, he is pleased that that was his last appearance as a somewhat regular YouTuber.

DDG will remain active on social media, so his fans could still follow his journey. A journey that may involve a coveted musical career.
