Donald Trump's version of Twitter - Gettr, is getting flooded with Sonic porn. The former US president wanted to create a free speech environment on social media and we be damned if animated hedgehog porn is not the pinnacle of free speech.
Donald Trump is relatively quiet these days, but that may as well be a consequence of his ban from Twitter. We doubt that he's grown tired of the attention all of a sudden. Would someone create a Twitter competitor if he wanted to stay away from the public eye? Yeah, we don't think so.
However, the content on Uncle Donald's platform Gettr is slightly different than he probably expected.
Sonic Porn Is the Hit on Donald Trump's Gettr
The internet can be a very weird place. In fact, it is most of the time. If Donald Trump thought he could escape from that part of it, well, let's just say he's currently being convinced otherwise by Gettr users.
The platform was created in retaliation to Twitter suspending the 45th president of the United States' profile on their site. That was a huge loss for every meme lover around the world, but it was also taken hard by hardcore Republicans.
Now, most folks would just take the hint and enjoy their Twitter-less lives. Hell, I do that without being banned from there! Donald Trump is not most people. The orange-skinned Home Alone actor wanted to prove he has a right of free speech by creating his own personal version of Twitter. Most people can't do that either.
The site was called Gettr and was conceived as a forum for Republican and right wing sympathizers where they could do whatever it is that Republicans do. Gettr is an open platform, which always means one thing: trolls are gonna roll.
We won't necessarily call them left-wing trolls, although they likely are. We will just call them geniuses. Gettr, which visually is a carbon copy of Twitter but in red, has been overwhelmed with sexual content in the theme of... Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sorry, SEGA, but Sonic is Gettr's mascot now. The users have won that right. There's simply no going back for our blue friend, he's crossed the line into legendary troll status.
