Sweet Crisis are a contemporary Rock band from Cambridge, and their music is best described as "soulful and catchy rock”! Their musical influences are vast, including the likes of The Rolling Sones, Kings of Leon, Free, Stereophonics, Radiohead and Arcade Fire, just to name a few.

Crisis consists of Leo Robarts (Lead vocals and Guitar), Piers Mortimer (Lead Guitar, Piano and Vocals), and Dave Cullen on Drums. They have been writing, recording and performing music together for over a decade now, and gigged across the UK and Europe in 2021, before releasing their eagerly awaited debut album later that year.

Described as explosive and energetic live, Sweet Crisis are honestly not to be missed. Preparing this article, I listened to the entirety of their 2021 debut album, Tricks on My Mind, and was profoundly impressed. The opener, Loosen Up, screams a strange hybrid of Oasis and Jet, and the album rolls on in a thunderous yet strangely sweet manner.

Seriously, you should take a listen, here's their full debut album:
