The brand new promo event FUT What If in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team goes into the second round. We saw several upgrades of the dynamic special cards from Team 1 already. Now EA Sports follows up. FUT What If Team 2 is in packs for a week now and is every bit as good as Team 1.
N'Golo Kanté, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Gomez were the strongest players in the first FUT What If team. Now, a week later, the second selection doubles down on quality. Among other things, FUT What If Team 2 brings new dynamic special cards for Dries Mertens and José Luis Morales. We have all the details, players & cards right here.
FUT What If Team 2: Overview & Upgrades
The first FUT What If team gave us some really top-class cards. Right back Kevin Mbabu and center back Marcelo have already secured the one-time +2 upgrade, and more rating boosts could follow as early as this weekend. What If Team 2 has a lot of potential too.

Players have to fulfil certain requirements within the next five league games to get the upgrades, just like it was for team 1:
- Strikers and midfielders: Upgrade if their respective club scores at least 6 goals in the next 5 games in the domestic league.
- Defenders and goalkeepers: Upgrade if their respective club goes without conceding at least once in the next 5 matches in the domestic league.

FUT What if Team 2 will be available in card packs for a week. Presumably, we can expect some more player SBCs and Objectives cards in the coming days. And who knows? Maybe the FUT Winter Refresh will finally start next week - even if it is more of a FUT Spring Refresh.
