Fortnite Season 7 is slowly coming to an end and everyone is looking forward to Chapter 2, Season 8. Now, the first leaks about the new locations on the Season 8 map have appeared.
Recently, the Fortnite leakers and data-miners never seem to stop and have leaked skins like Will Smith, J Balvin, and Chris Hemsworth in addition to the already released Mecha Morty Bundle. The leaks keep coming, and with the upcoming Season 8 of Chapter 2, there is already speculation about what might happen and what might change in Fortnite.
Popular leaker Hypex has news that suggest new locations will appear on the Fortnite Season 8 map.
Fortnite Season 8 Map Location Leaks
With the leak of the new upcoming "Sideways" mechanic (Similar to Stranger Things), many had suspected that it would also bring many changes to the original Fortnite map. There are already many fan concepts that suggest something will take over the island and change the normal flow of things. If this turns out to be true, Fortnite players could be looking at a new map with "Sideways" POIs.
Hypex has revealed several new locations, codenamed "Demeter," that are in very early stages. Below are all the leaked locations:
- Canoe Shop
- Dragons Maw Cave
- Farm
- Forest Ruins
- Haunted Hotel
- Hiking Visitors Center
- Hydro Power Station
- Camp - Castle
- Mansion
- Prison
Unreleased locations for a map codenamed "Demeter", it's in VERY early development and its probably for survival or Chapter 3:- Canoe Shop- Dragons Maw Cave- Farm- Forest Ruins- Haunted Hotel- Hiking Visitors Center- Hydro Power Station- Camp- Castle- Mansion- Prison

Dragon maw cave, forest ruins, a haunted house, and a prison. Kind of creepy, isn't it? All these names seem to suggest something ominous, something Halloween.
Hypex added that the grid size of all the locations isn't large enough to allow for a full Battle Royale experience. So, if the locations don't become part of the new Season 8 map, this could also be a limited-time mode. Perhaps something similar to this year's Fortnitemares? I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Epic has planned. But we can at least be sure that these locations will bring an exciting new experience.
