The wait is over! Fortnite Season 7 is here, and it's going to be galactic. The Aliens have invaded, and we need to stop them! We have a first look at the Season 7 changes regarding the map, weapons, Battle Pass, so you can start kicking some alien butt!

The New Fortnite Season Battle Pass has Stars

The new Season 7 Battle Pass is different from Season 6. Previously, we had to level up the Battle Pass and in the process, we would unlock new skins and cosmetics. Now, the system has been changed drastically. When you level up, you earn stars. With these stars, you can choose what exactly you want to buy in the Battle Pass. It's actually quite cool, isn't it?

There is also the Alien Skin Kymera, which you can customize once you have collected artifacts on the Fortnite map.

Fortnite Season 7 Map

A new season means a new Fortnite map! Okay, well, maybe not completely new, but some things have definitely changed! The IO Guardians are back, and you should either equip yourself well before fighting them, or just avoid them. In addition, there are some places returning to the map, like Frenzy Farm!

Some New POIs have appeared:

Fortnite Season 7 Weapons

Besides a few older weapons, like the pump and the AK, a couple of new killer alien weapons have been added to the game. In keeping with the theme, these are of course equipped with a lot of lasers and alien tech. You will also be able to craft weapons again this season. Collect nuts and bolts from UFOs and other items to make weapons that were previously in the vault.

And make sure to thank the Fortnite devs in your DMs, because the bows are finally gone, and we have our snipers back!

Flying Saucers in Fortnite

Yes, indeed, UFOs are not just for aliens now. You probably noticed the purple-marked POIs on the map. A purple marker shows you the locations of the driveable UFOs. If you shoot them down, you can take control of them and try to steer one of these things. Wreak havoc on the battlefield with its tractor beam!
