How to get the E-11 Blaster in Fortnite

Fortnite has had plenty of Star Wars crossovers the past couple of years, but none more exciting than Darth Vader finally arriving for Chapter 3 Season 3.

The iconic Star Wars villain is not only a reward included in the Chapter 3 Season 3 battle pass, but he's also a highly difficult NPC that roams around the island looking to submit players to the dark side of the force.

While Fortnite players that weren't up for the challenge could simply ignore the threat Vader represents to their chances of earning a Victory Royale, if they wish to complete a week 4 seasonal quest, they'll need to confront the Sith Lord himself. The challenge in turn requires them to destroy structures with the E-11 Blaster.

This Mythic rifle is a familiar weapon to Fortnite veterans, as it was previously part of the regular loot pool of the battle royale. Now, however, is much harder to obtain. While the weapon itself might not be worth it due to its lackluster DPS, if you want to earn that 15k XP boost, you'll need to know how to locate one.

Where to get the E-11 Blaster in Fortnite

To get your hands on one you'll have to risk challenging Darth Vader and his small army of Stormtroopers. If you don't know how to find the hardest NPC in the game, it's actually very simple. First, pay close attention to your surroundings when you're inside the battle bus, as an Imperial Shuttle will show up and land in a random location.

Once it touches the ground, a big red flare will signal its landing zone so it's virtually unmissable. This is the only spot you'll be able to find the E-11 Blaster. Fret not, unlike Darth Vader's lightsaber which actually requires you to take down the former Anakin Skywalker, the rifle can be acquired without even killing a single Stormtrooper.

If you're inclined to simply take some of the Imperial gear without resorting to violence, look for these crates pictured down below. They'll drop loot, with an E-11 Blaster guaranteed to come out of them every time you open one.

Now that you have your very own E-11 Blaster, you're all set to try and complete the week 4 seasonal challenge. In case you forgot, you need to destroy a total of 15 structures with the rifle. Don't worry about ammo, since the E-11 Blaster has an infinite amount.

And there you have it! Now that you know how to get your hands on some tech from a galaxy far far away, it'll be easier to complete your weekly quest and progress your battle pass even further.
